How do we use cookies and web analysis (cookies)
As an important part of the work of creating a user-friendly website, we look at the user pattern of those who visit our website. Cookies help us determine which parts of our website are most popular, including which pages customers and stakeholders visit, and for how long. In addition, we receive information about which device and browser are used, which is useful for being able to adapt the website to most digital surfaces.
To analyze the information, we use the analysis tool Google Analytics.
Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files that the website stores on the user's computer), which register the users' IP address, and provide information about the individual user's movements online. Examples of what the statistics give us answers to are; how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from, and which browsers are used. None of the cookies allows us to link information about your / their use of the website to you/you as individuals.
The information collected by Google Analytics is stored on Google's servers in the United States. Information received is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We refer to the Google Privacy Statement for more information on this treatment: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/
An IP address is defined as personal information because it can be traced back to specific hardware, and thus to an individual. Drig AS uses Google Analytics' tracking code which anonymizes the IP address before the information is stored and processed by Google. Thus, the stored IP address can not be used to identify the individual user.
You will find updated information on how we use cookies here.
Here you will also find information about your options and consent settings.
We typically use the information collected using cookies for the following purposes:
Functional cookies and services:
-
Cookies are very important for the operation of our websites and digital services, and they facilitate a good user experience. If you wish, you can, for example, not have to enter your username, password, and any settings every time you log in to our services.
-
Service development: Cookies help us to monitor the use of the websites and digital services so that we can improve them. For example, we receive information about which websites are most popular, which links you came from or follow, and how long the users stay on our websites.
Usage analysis:
The information is used, for example, to provide a better service offering, for development and analysis, and to collect statistical information about the number of visitors to our websites and digital services.
Drig AS's website
When you search on drig.no and subpages, the IP address from the user data unit is registered. You can also contact us directly through the form on the website. Contact through forms is treated in the same way as e-mail, and for security reasons, you should here consider what to send unsecured over the web.
Search
Drig AS stores information about which keywords users use on our websites in Google Analytics. The purpose of the storage is to make our information offer better. The usage pattern for searches is stored in an aggregate form. Only the keyword is stored, and they can not be linked to other information about the users, such as the IP addresses.
Share service
The "Share with others" feature can be used to forward links to the site via email, or to share content on social networking sites. All such services should therefore be used wisely. If you use the e-mail function, we only use the specified e-mail addresses to forward the message without any form of storage.
Comments
Where it is possible for customers and partners to comment on articles or blogs, in some cases names and e-mail addresses are required. Name and e-mail address can be published with the comment, but are not stored at Drig AS.

Cookies are used in the operation and presentation of data from websites. Such cookies may contain language code information for languages selected by the user. There may be cookies with information that supports the load balancing of the system so that all users are ensured the best possible experience. For services that require login or search, cookies can be used, which ensures that the service presents data to the right recipient.
